Dr Tony Cassimatis
Dr Tony Cassimatis is married with three children. He has been practicing dentistry since 1983 and opened his own practice in Brisbane in 1985. He earned his dental degree from the University of Queensland. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association and a member of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Dentists, Fellow of the Asia Pacific College. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has appeared on the Body Specialist where he performed a smile makeover. He has trained with some of the world’s most prominent cosmetic dentists.
His combination of experience, technical expertise and warm personal approach to care has attracted people of all ages to our practice. He is committed to staying up to date with the most advanced techniques and committed to continuing education so as to provide the highest level of excellence to his patients.
He is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, which is one of the world’s premier post-graduate teaching centres. This involved lectures and hands on training on patients for anterior cosmetic dentistry and neuromuscular dentistry. He has attended another ‘hands on’ patient training seminar in Brazil, where he gained experience in the latest techniques and materials for tooth bonding. Dr. Cassimatis is also asked by dental material manufacturers to provide advice and feedback on the latest materials.
He has also graduated from a two year academic and clinical program in orthodontics. Therefore at our practice we are able to offer patients a variety of treatment options to improve their smile. Whether it be orthodontics, crowns and veneers or tooth bonding, be assured that we will do everything we can to meet your expectations and exceed them. Dr. Cassimatis is very passionate about the smiles he creates.
